  • Help with stance build

Okay guys I'm new to all this. I have an 02 M3. Plan on getting everything I need this spring. Coilovers, wheels and tires. I'm wanting to run a square setup so I can rotate my tires but I don't want to get into rolling my fenders. I've been looking at different setups and like the flush look and I don't mind to go as far as -3 camber front and rear. Here are the wheels I'm looking at and I plan on running 265/35 18 front and rear. Could I pull it off with no fender rolling?

Also I'm new to the wheel offset. What kind of lip would have with these wheels? The offset is 20

      Help with stance build

Your bmw has a 5x120 bolt pattern, those wheels aren't going to work.

They have them in a 5x120 bolt pattern. I just took a quick screenshot of the wheel type.

There are a ton of stanced E46 M3s on this site. I would search for them. also look at the "Appreciation" Threads and see whats there. It should give you an idea what's been done and the efforts required

            progress IS a slow process

Oh boy, there are plenty of better real wheel options you can go with if you're just trying to make them fit nice and have a nice stance? Let me know if you want me to lead you in the right direction for real wheels Via Japan on Instagram because I can guarantee you on this forum you will have a better time running real wheels and it will just be better in the long run if you decide to relip them. Not all real wheels are expensive and even if you do want to stick with reps at least get some ESR's or something that look decent.

Definitely! I just have no clue lol. I want a real nice stance look. Nothing to extreme. Those wheels was from performance tire. I know nothing about wheels. I'm still trying to figure out what I should do. 18 square or 19 staggered. The reason I would like to stay away from fender rolling is that they're is no one close to me that can do it. I live in the country and am hours from anything. But I really like the stance on this M3. I wouldn't mind a little stretch and a little camber.

Do some research around these forums and look how guys roll their fenders, prep their cars for fitting different wheels and size wheels before you embark on this, trust me you will be thankful. What country do you live in or are you in the states? That M3 i pretty extreme if you ask me but its definitely possible with the time, money and ambition. I don't personally know much about e46 fitment myself but I'm sure there's plenty of info on this forum about it. I'll link you some good threads to get you started hold on. Start by learning about wheel offset, how tires fit on different width and diameter of wheels, and the difference between one piece, two and three piece wheels and their advantages and disadvantages. Google can help you with that Do some good research before you go spending cash because you can either learn after you buy the parts like I have or you can put in the tme and save money by purchasing the correct parts!

Appreciation thread will really get you in the right direction, don't be afraid to ask questions on them either the owners or posters would (usually) be more than happy to help you with info regarding the cars posted.

Plan on wrapping the car and then coilovers, wheels and so on. I live in the states.West Virginia. I'll look at these threads and do some more research.
