  • Okay Time for a legit update... So lets get this Mutha****nParty started..

As I stated before I love Wheat beers and Karbach Brewing Co. makes a damn good. one..

And you know this post would not be complete if I did not post up some DogFish Head..

The DogFish Head Piercing Pils has a very unique taste.. i dig it though.

Started off running my Hydro Brake lines to the rear..

Ran it through the center console and then T'ed it in the rear..

Went under the Accusump, Nice and clean.. Now I still have to run all my brake lines though..

You know things are getting close when you start buying all your fluids

Damn that is a lot of oil.. Have to fill the Accusump also..

Going to make sure this bad boy stays cool..

A quick look at her before I send her off to Dallas to finish wiring

Damn she is one sexy lady..

Loaded her up on these damn Uhaul trailers,, Can't wait to buy my own once she is done.. (Just take a guess which trailer I am aiming for)

I think the only thing I like about this trailer is the tire tie downs..

Dropped her off at Stew's house.. And she is in good hands.. and also has some nice company with her..

**** is about to get real.. some cutting..

Sad sad day..... But the out come will be epic

Have to water proof and smoke proof these bad boys..

The Start of my floor board so my feet have some were to rest and not get hot..

I just love how this thing is turning out..

Need grip no problem.. Love how it turned out in the end with the grip tape and all..

    Let the wiring begin..

Love this location of were my breaker is..

    Out of sight

    Let there be light!!!

So badass to see everything turn on...

    entering the cabin

Now let the ChaseBays **** fest begin...

Stew found the issue why the PCM would not turn on.. Was getting constant power were it should have not..

    Like WTF!!

Issues fixed and put back together

After all that we need to rename this harness

On to removing all the unnecessary wires for lights..

First time I have seen lights light up on this car for about 3 yrs.. so stoked.

    Install my IAT sensor

Time to remove this 3yr old gas.. It was nasty to say the least.. and I had like 7gallons of it..

Before we stated we wanted to reroute the fuel lines better.. So more fittings were ordered..

    And this cute little filter

Oh **** we have pressure.. We def bumpped this up with my FPR... But man over 3yrs its good to see some pressure.. lol

PCM is talking so lets do this..

    http://vimeo.com/103854495

Okay what all you guys have been waiting for.. Now I post everything on this build the good and the bad.. So with that being said I think this is Bad...LOL my timing is all jacked up so we are working on the issue as we speak and I should have a better idle vid for you soon.. But Like I promised we have a heart beat.. So stoked right now..

Now I got to hear this thing in person and man is it loud and rowdy, just how I wanted it to be.. can't wait to rip in this thing

Facts behind that is, if you have just made machining work or honing to your engine, the piston rings will eat more of the cylinder wall if you use mineral oil, this makes the piston rings seal better. if you havent done any machining to the engine its fine.

Also if you have done machining, you should run the engine couple times, before reaching high oil temp and change oils after first time reaching 'high' oil temp to remove any residue that might have left from the machining work.. just to be sure.. and for that purpose the cheap mineral oils are pretty ok

Other than that, nice build keep it up!

                      • Sooooo the ChaseBays BS continues... Figuring out why it sounds like **** and wont hold a idle..

BAM!!! Pins were not locked in,, Like come on... So we did not have all eight ignition signals more like 6.. We have a rough tune but need to get a wide band on it. Also my TPS sensor reads backwards.. 100 at idle and 0% at WOT (guessing chasebays is to blame for this) So going to buy a new TPS just to be safe since mine was used.

But as of right now I have another vid with a better idle that I will post up (question how do you embed Vimeo vids?)

So for now I am going to bring her home, run my brake lines, lower car and get alignment and then head back to Dallas to get tuned and fix any issues we come up with..

                        • Okay so here is another vid (yes vid is shitty, I will get a better one later)

So we got the car to idle better, still need to jump on the dyno so we can iron out a few things but hey you get the ideal..
