  • I love old BMW: E32 750il

So I recently had an E32 750iL come into my possession. Good deal on a clean, low mile, long wheel base, V12... What could possibly go wrong?

All the car needed was a battery to get those 12 cylinders pumping. Yeah, it's a napa battery... So what.

It was sitting outside for about 3 years so the second thing to do was give it a good detail. didn't really take any before and after pics

    And then some maintenance stuff...

    Test fit some x5 19's

Thanks to a couple of buddies we got it all polished up and did brakes/rotors and other state inspection stuff

So whats the best way to break in a car that's been sitting for an extended period of time?
Drive it less than 50 miles to get everything broken in and then drive it 6 hours to Ocean City for H2oi. Here's some pics from that...

So I made it all the way down there with no problems until Sunday morning at 1am I blew a power steering line...

    Simple fix...

And I made a small mess in the Hilton's parking lot...Luckily there was a lot of sand to soak it all up

So fresh off of h2oi weekend I was pretty eager to get back to work on the 7 so i decided to tackle some easy stuff. I started with the headliner.

I scuffed off all the old glue using stiff brushes and assorted power tools

    And a fun little goodie

My car is a 1990 and an e30 hub fit it. I've read some cars need e36 hubs. Also if anyone would like to know how I bypassed the amp in a clever way for my 10 speaker system. if anyone would like more info on that I'd be more than happy to help.

Pretty soon I'll do a full shoot to show the car off a little more...

Suspension is next on my list so stay tuned

Nice to see another E32 getting some love! Especially like the iL, it just looks much more balanced than the short wheelbase.
You need the Style 5s for your car, fits the E32 perfectly in my opinion!
The general style discussion forum, as well as a place to post your car, or any car for that matter.

I like the pinstriping, yours must be the first car I see that has them. They were offered as a factory extra, do you know if the first owner ordered these? Do you have the VIN at hand?
Don't know about the parts situation in the US, but if you need something special from Germany, please tell. Will try to help.

I actually had to take the old stripes off, they were faded and starting to peel. I liked the look so I ran some new stripes. There are a couple of small cosmetic flaws that I plan to fix in due time so I didn't lay them exactly how they were before
