      January, 2015

The front right corner of the bodywork was repaired.

After that I bought a brand new original front valance. We repaired the original green fender with another one's lower piece. The bonnet is the old one. It was on the car when I bought it.

While the e28 was in the paint shop I rebuilt the Futuras. Polishing the lips and the bolts. Painting the centers and caps. The center caps were plastic ones, so I decided to CNC machining new ones from aluminium.

        It was wrapped:

The new caps were done, only had to paint them

I made new rings to the caps from stainless steel, these were polished too.

        And a finished wheel:

The car arrived home and I started to assembling it.

The polished old turn signal lenses:

          A new license plate holder:

The headlight got smoked vinyl. Its almost done

At the last day I finished it, so we could go to our 3rd AMTS in the end of march:

                    Winter/Spring, 2016

I always wanted to go lower and I wanted a bagged car. There wasn't another way, I had to bag it.

I started to collect parts in winter: bags, Viair 444c compressor, 20 liter air tank, manual valves, gauges...

I CNC machined every parts to mount the bags to the struts. The camber plates came from the previous setup.

I installed 15mm spacers in the front and 5mm spacers in the rear for the better fitment.

                    Some pics of this project:

The original vs. the new struts:

10/10 on this one no doubt!
