  • MINI Cooper project - UK

Hi all, this is my first post on the forum but I've been looking around here for a while.

Here is my daily car, which has become a bit of a project, a 2002 MINI Cooper. When I first bought it:

And then I started modifying, here it is after I fitted AP coilovers, Silver Project top mounts and RCAs, facelift grille and lights:

And I bought some wheels, Brock RC01 17x7.5 ET35 for flush fitment. Before refurb with the top mounts and then on the car (yes I do have 4 just didn't have all of them with me):

I also have a loud stainless catback exhaust that I got cheap, a Ramair cone filter for great noise, an OMP upper strut brace a few little interior changes. Oh, and lots of repairs, these MINIs are not very reliable, but its made it to 140,000 miles.

    Thanks for looking

        Thank you!

Mine doesn't use much oil, but they often lose some through leaks which are normal.

They are really good fun to drive, even more so with coilvers and a bit of camber. And the arches are plastic so they trim themselves.

The wheels will have some new centre caps soon, they only came with 3 but I couldn't find the right one for sale anywhere so they'll be a different style.

Thanks, I'll get some more pictures soon.

I'm currently painting the dashboard plastics satin black, the Silver looks awful, and there's loads of it. I've also bought a flocking kit to do the dash top, black too.

I have 195/40 Falkens, hard ride but fit great on the 7.5j wheels.

I took some more pictures, a friend of mine did a great job of cleaning and polishing the paintwork:
