If this ends up looking like your avatar, then I'm cool with it. I like it so far.

Yea that's the plan! I found that image on google awhile back so I'm not sure who made it, but it's pretty close to what I want. Color is probably lighter than I want, and like I said no spoiler as of right now.

Got some more work on the rollcage done this weekend. Also started on the body work, got a good bit done fixing the fuel door mess. Not perfect yet but it's getting close. Lot of shit going on right now in the personal life, but short story is that the Datsun might be making a Colorado trip, subie isn't sounding so well this morning.

Here is some photos of the 🔥

Just curious, isn't there a way you could get the cage to fit better in the car? The main hoop and front down bars look awfully restrictive of ingress/egress and vision.

I didn't upload any photos of the side of the car once its been welded onto the actual body of the car. I think youll be much more pleased with the way it sits. FYI the picture when its finally painted blue, the cage is dropped through the floor still. wanted to get the top painted before I couldn't spray the top side easily.

I think there is a picture in a post above where it is sitting close to where it sits welded in.

Oh but there will also be door bars installed so yes ingress and egress will definitely be harder. but with a quick release steering wheel I hope much of that difficulty will be taken care of.

Just a slight update. Wanted to take some photos of how the roll cage sits in the car after I officially welded it in place. Also welded the harness bar in place last night.

Yeah im starting to wish I got a seat more like a corbeau or bride, but I don't have that sort of funding either. The Kirkey was cheap, and I like the oldschool style of it. Oh I can pick it up with one finger, that is nice too.

                      Last update for a while

Pretty much just gunna be a photo dump. The car is all packed up and I'm in Colorado now. Planning to resume work on it in the spring. Would like to point out that I screwed up painting it and now I have to strip all the primer off when I get back cause it's not compatible with my topcoat. That's all folks!
