I recently picked up a 97 K2 Golf. Originally built by a good friend Jeff Bynum.
its has a 24v swap with all the creature comforts

It was passed around a little and was recently in a small accident. So I picked it up.
I wasted no time in stripping the damaged parts off and getting OEM euro stuff to replace what was there.
I had a new OEM jetta hood sitting around.
a quick ride to Orchid Euro and I had all the bits I needed.
Painted parts
I also installed new radiator, condenser and AC hose.
I am picking up the painted parts tomorrow.
Since I am in the wheel refinishing business I powdered up a set of Nothelle N Classics I had floating around. Figured a period wheel would look good on it.
so this is where I am at now. Picking up body parts tomorrow and should be road worthy.
Can't wait to take it to h2O this year. First time not in a MK1
