almost done! have to repaint one of the window trims on the left side and the right side mirror, other than those 2 parts and the headlights the car is assembled.

all the glass rubbers were replaced with new ones, and i repainted all the window trims satin black. also if you didnt notice, i welded the holes for the rear washer jet and rear wiper cuz i didnt like the look of it.




i wasn't happy with how big the factory bumper-hood gap was (check previous post), it stood out too much on the white, so i modified the rad support a bit and tightened up the gap



still a few more things i need to do to it to be happy, need spacers for the rear wheels and coilovers because the car is waaaaay too high on stock suspension. also waiting on the emblems to arrive.

thinking of a custom plate, fast and furious themed. any opinions? I'm allowed 8 characters where i live.

just finished the last piece of the puzzle. will be installing the headlights tomomorrow along with some misc things (install wipers, detail car)... and then it time to drive it!

as you can see i this picture the headlights were in horrible shape.



so i took them apart



stripped off the chrome paint



and painted the housings matte metallic grey




put the headlights back together and sanded the lenses



then cleared the lenses and wet sanded and polished them.

That looks great, repainting the housings really makes them stand out now, in a good way!
