Mercedes W115 1972 build thread

welcome to my build thread.

Bought this merc back in xmas 2015, had an MOT and mechanically was sound. bodywork needed attention but that wasnt an issue as ill be respraying it myself. painter by trade.

all chromes in good condition etc. less of the talking, here are the pictures.











all sills are good,


the only bit of welding that it needed.




Time to chuck on some paint.

















Windows were taken out, new seals added.








new radiator added too.


Sent the chrome off to be polished up. came back really well. put the white walls on. here is how it stands now.

next is interior, and air ride.

looking real good, glad you went black and kept the chrome! always a good combination in my eyes.

look forward to seeing this on bags although it does sit well how it is
