  • Project Slamther (1996 Ford Crown Victoria)

I figured that after my intro post, I might as well migrate to the build section. This is an otherwise bone-stock 1996 Crown Vic. The front springs are open-ended with a ton of pre-load, so you can safely cut 2 coils out of each front spring. In terms of the rear, I'm running SN95 GT lowering springs with gently massaged upper perches, and some kind of isolators that I had lying around. Currently, the plan is to mount my new Nokians, stencil them in white, remove the hubcaps and run RWLs with black factory four-slot, low offset steelies while I save up for some nice SN95 GT or New Edge GT wheels.

this would look good with some P71 steelies.

Sort-of one step ahead of you. Just got back from getting my new Nokians mounted on black four slots. Pics to come.

Blackwall Nokians mounted, and hubcaps off. Noticeably better than before.

Popped on some of my favorite stickers, but not sure as to how I feel about them. Might just scrape the ICYU MAD THO sticker off the back, and put a Stanceworks windshield banner on.

Painted parts of my headlight buckets! It's starting to look less and less stock.

Not too shabby. At least these are deal reliable haha. You should look into a 5 speed swap.

Well, panel damage has been sustained. At least this gives me an excuse to buy a hydro e-brake and weld the diff.

                      nice.

I was gonna say to grab a can of black plastidip and start erasing the chrome on the car.

The bolt pattern and suspension swap-ability makes this have some superb potential.
