I love those wheels and I love where this is going, in my opinion the perfect direction restore all the old with new but keeping it looking period correct. this is basically what I've been doing to mine.

Not that anyone cares, but here's a quick update. More Euro parts showed and wheels are 75% done. Parts came in the night before I went on vacation so I wasn't able to take any real pictures. For now here are some pictures of where the wheels stand now.

Here's the difference between one of my dirty barrels and one that's almost completely clean. These are original Hayashi Racing barrels. They don't appear to have ever been cleaned!

Its funny how that works, I guess we as people are always interested in what we can't have or what we weren't allowed to have. We in the U.S. would love to have all the different years and colors the European market was allowed to have!
