So finally I will make one of these build thread things.

Car is a 1995 320i, nothing fancy but it runs and it drives.

I bought the car 100% bone stock in January with 194K kms.

Very quickly replaced the LCABs with Powerflex Poly, a bought a set of wheels, some Kosei K1 17 x 8.4 et 45 running 225/45/17 Sumitomo HTRZ3 rubber.

Then I decided a race seat would be cool, so I bought a Sparco Sprint-L, mounted it on some Sparco sliders and dropped it onto a Sparco base. Then threaded a Takata Drift-II Harness through the harness holes.

Current plan with the car is to completely rebuild the front suspension and steering as well as do a full brake job, and THEN throw on the FK Streetline X coils.

I won't be going for uber lowz and stance. Just want something that is gonna look ok and not ride like you just fell down the stairs.

    Pictars:

And how the car looked today as I made my way around Germany with MadMax buying wheels:

and of course the obligatory shot of the "fitment" with so much stuff in the car:

      Yup a square set a 17 x 8.5 ET 13, gonna be getting 205/40 & 215/40 and throwing them on the E36.

The other wheels are 2 sets of AC Schnitzer Type II's 17 x 8 et 35. One set with ACS caps, one with BMW caps.

So I had an awesome time doing maintenance shit and fixing stuff. Now I can have fun.

Started installing my coilovers yesterday. FK Streetline X's. Just have the fronts on for now. Roughly adjusted to 20 threads showing with helpers installed. Waiting on them to settle to make the final adjustments. Gonna be installing the rears today hopefully.

The specs on the wheels are 17 x 8 et 35 tires are 235-40-17. At this height there is no rubbing except for a little bit on the fender liner (yes I havent removed them yet haha). I am not running spacers or any camber stuff on the front right now.

Yea I have a fender roller, and I have to roll to get the Koseis to fit.

ANd no, I still have the Koseis and they are going back on because I am going to the Ring soon and the tires on the wheels I have on right now aren't too good.

Finally got the front fenders rolled and mounted up the Kosei's. Sadly because of the height I have it at and the specs of the wheels and tires I had to pull the liners out, but they will be going back on once I throw the steelies on.

Still need to install the rear coils. Spent today putting a washer back onto the drivers front that I forgot to put back on when installing the coils.

So I got the rear coils in. Right now I am just running the adjuster collars and no bases since it wasn't as low as I wanted it with it all in there. I need to adjust the rear toe next.

I also need to roll and pull the p/s front fender a little more since it rubs when I make full lock turns to the left.

But I am very happy with how it rides and handles. Once the coils settle in I will make my final height and dampening adjustments.

And my current "pigeon" toe dilemma

And just that is horrible rust. I noticed there was a lot of bondo and I got nosey with a screwdriver. Oops.......

Not part of the "build" per say. But got to use it for what I kind of had in mind.

Boo to having to run winter tires haha

Edit: Now that the coils are completely broken in, I have made my final adjustments. This is 24 threads showing on the front and the rears spun all the way down with bases and adjusters.
