The lift is Quickjack BL-5000SLX. It works great. Everything is quick release for the lines so its portable. If you're going to move it a lot, I would get the 3500.
Pull the car in, slide it under and lift.
      They have a 3500lb, 5000lb and 7000lb version. I have the 5000 just incase.

Here is the link to the site and the one I have. CLICK

I have a buddy that can get 10% since he's sponsored by them. He's one of the Bimmerworld racecar drivers. LMK

After dealing with putting nitrogen in them, in my eyes even the RS1's are worth good money just from that adjustability stand point alone. It's crazy how much that effected my ride comfort.

Sounds great, but since I'm from germany, I might have to wait a while for it.. (Since I definitly won't pay that import payment. )
          But thanks m8.

Haven't been on here in a while, but this thread was worth the return. Love what you're doing with the 1, almost got a 135i as a daily had it not been for the reliability questions. Also haven't ever seen a jack like that before, I may very seriously look into getting one. Thanks for the inspiration!

Edit: also just followed you on instagram

Get a 128i then. Our E91 wagon has almost 200k miles on it and its been a joy to own. The no turbo engine is really nice and super reliable.

The QuickJack is awesome. It's like having a lift in your garage... wait it is like having a lift in your garage. lol

              UPDATE

Well, here we are again. Don't know what happened. Car started smoking again. We have put 800miles on the car since the new turbos and we have driven it really nice since I wanted everything to break in nice if thats even a thing with turbos.

I'll let you guys know what it is when they tell me.

                  Not yet.

                  UPDATE

Well, the car is still at the dealer and keeps smoking.

                  They have already replaced:
                  - Valve Cover Gasket
                  - Valve Cover
                  - PCV Valve

and the Turbos where replaced the time before that.

                  The car keeps smoking...

They did a full leak down test and everything is perfect so now they are going over everything with a bora scope.

To be honest I think its the exhaust valve seals.

I found this on another forum:

                  1) failed pcv valve/valve cover gasket/valve cover… (Replaced)
                  2) failed turbo seals in OEM/RB turbos/any turbo that utilizes the OEM frames...(Replaced)
                  3) failed valve stem seals: Compete rebuild/upgrade of the head. (yeah...... this might be it)

The leakdown testing should of pointed to the seals I believe, though.

Yeah. Thats what they are thinking. So they are leaning towards the fuel injectors leaking since it has the old index 6 injectors from 2008. I guess BMW has had a few revisions since then.

                        UPDATE

Car is still at the dealer. No biggie as long as they fix everything broken. Currently it's still smoking but they have managed to fix a few other issues that were affecting performance.

So far whats been changed this trip:
                        - Valve Cover Gasket
                        - Valve Cover
                        - PCV Valve

                        Whats next:

So they realized some of the smoke smelled like gas. This meant one or more of the injectors were leaking. They decided to pull them out and see what the issue was.

                        Surprise surprise!

So the car had injector issues before and it was fixed how ever they could.
They went cylinder 1-6 Injector Index 6,9,9,6,9,6
Since all the injectors are different, the dealer decided it would take to much diagnostic time to figure out the problematic ones. It would be better to replace all of them with Index 12 new Injectors.

                        All new ones

Here are what my spark plugs look like. They are due in 8k miles but since everything is already off the car they gave me the option of replacing them for the cost of the new plugs. I gave them the go ahead.

So as of now since buying the car, here is everything replaced by the dealer:
                        - Turbos
                        - Valve Cover Gasket
                        - Valve Cover
                        - PCV Valve
                        - Index 12 Injectors (all 6)
                        - Spark Plugs (all 6)

                        Annnnnnnnnnddddddddd

Car runs way way way smoother and smokes way less buuuutttttt still smokes. yay.

As of now the only issue left is the exhaust valve seals. Let's see what happens and how they will handle that since the turbos have to come off again to check the exhaust ports for oil.

Seems like you go to a great dealer.

Never really been fan of the 1 series bmw's, as they were soooo expensive for what performance they offered when new. This is really cool and looks like a lot of fun. Glad these things are affordable used and are being picked up by the enthusiasts like you.

Wow, you have an amazing dealer, lol.

I'm amazed that they're doing all this work while you have Downpipes and JB4 and what-not.
