    • Tell me about it brohanisburgh.
Good news? I had some rattling/scraping noises coming from the passenger side. Jacked it up to take a look and make sure everything was okay. Nothing was off, so I let it back down and the sound's gone now.
Bad news? I still want to go lower.

AHAHAHA!!! weird, maybe your spring wasnt seated right.

i want to go lower as well, BUT!

wait to go crazy low til AFTER you have the right wheels and tires that you want, because since mw and you are not rolling on coilovers, if you go too low(which is almost never possible lolol)
        you cant go back up.

i wanna cut more, but im afraid ill be lower thatn my wheels will allow, whenever i choose to get a proper set.
but i guess when i doo, ill get adjustable suspension as well.

        • I think I have room between tire and fender to lower the front more.

I'ma check it out tomorrow, if I do. More low.

            • No worries on that Vegas, you know I'm down for some intense sexting. (intense amounts of homo)

I built this back over the summer, and sold it to my friend. He said it was sitting out back of his house, so I said I'd buy it back. I picked it up yesterday and have a new frame that will fit the bike better. Thinking of getting a bent spring fork.
The plan currently is to drop the banana seat+sissy bar, front wheel, and 26" apehangers on to a little kids frame. I'm going to swap out the chainring for one that suits a 20 year old and not an 8 year old. Going to roughly sand the frame and rust it out. I'm going to try and snug a 26" wheel in back, but I may have to hack the rear triangle off of the doner cruiser and weld it on to the little kids one. We'll see if it works, but I'll be updating on this build as well as the car stuff.

                      • The other bike on the couch is the old frame and rear wheel. It'll get tossed. I have that frame, the front wheel of the huffy cruiser, a broken rear mountain bike wheel, a shit ton of other parts and my single speed lying around the house haha.
I built the rear wheel in 30 minutes, personal best. But without a truing stand, it took me about an hour to true it.
Swapped the chain off of the old frame, because the one on the huffy cruiser snapped off a few weeks ago. It was a big swap project, and I'm pretty damn proud of how it came out.

                          • I'm sure as hell not selling this one again hahaha.
If people are interested, it cost me about 80-90 dollars to build this one.

                              • Haha nice man. Definitely get a cool cruiser frame for it. The lines make or break it. My old frame was a cheap ass bike with straight tubes, it didn't look good. Also, fatter tires looks better IMO, and a coaster brake makes for a clean brake cable-less frame.
