Hey SW.
After a couple of years dreaming about having a older car I finally bought a 1979 E12. I should say that I had a 2003 Mercedes C class that my grandfather gave me, but my love was always for another car. I fell in love with the E28 in the late 2014 and since then been on the lookout for a great deal, but the E28 in this country is either clean as fuck and expensive or just not drivable at all. At this point I should say that im not a mechanic and a total newbie - so im learning as I go along. With help from my father, friends and hopefully you guys.
After a long search for the perfect E28 I suddenly saw this add on the norwegian site similar to craigslist of what I believed was a E28. (because of the similar front) I had actually never seen a E12 at this point and fell in love at first sight.
I will update the thread as I go along. All help is received with gratitude.
