  • Stanced 2nd gen Mazda 3 sedan

Hey, I've been watching everyone's builds and just decided to go ahead and post my car because I don't really see many people modding Mazda 3 sedans of my year. So let's start off when I bought the car. Also idk how to post pics the right way on here so if someone wants to tell me that would be great lol

ALSO, I am still in high school. I pay for this car on my own, and have never had any help from my parents for this, so this isn't going to be a car with mad expensive parts. Just keep that in mind.. I'm making the payment, insurance, maintenance by myself. So it's obviously gonna take a little to afford stuff haha.

I don't have many pics due to my old phone with all the pics being broken, but I got a corksport catback w/ racepipe and 8000k hids

I also lowered the car on raceland Ultimos. This was prob one of my most regretted decisions, but being poor, it's what I could afford. I realize how I wasted my money and I plan on going bc coils with 326 springs pretty soon. Here's a pic after I put on the coils, and got some cheap wheels off craigslist for 80 bucks to paint black until I got something else.

Then I found enkei ev5 on Craigslist for dirt cheap, 17x7.5 lol. The only reason I bought them was for the price, then I found out there was a crack in one of the wheels haha. Sold these a week later

I sold the black wheels for 400.

Thanks! It's gonna take a bit cause I'm broke rn but it'll get there. My plan is just a clean daily, can't do anything stupid to it engine wise cause it's my only car.

I also ordered my wheels, yes they're reps, but I don't wanna drop my life saving rn on wheels lol. The specs are 18x9.5 +35 and +22 for rear. I just wanna ease my way into the fitment game, and then get nice legit wheels when I have the income to allow it. Here's the test fit. Plan is to order camber arms, lug nuts, hub centric rings, tires, and then get it all on. But yeah here's the test fit on the front pic

I also drilled a couple holes in the smile for a meaner look, and removed the lenses from my headlights, painted housings. And chopped some stuff to make it work.

Forgot to add, made a 06 sti lip fit my car, side skirts, and made Extentions

Lugs, tires and rings shipped, should be here in a couple days. Finally got all the pics sorted out, sorry for the confusion. Pics will be up when I get the tires mounted and the car on the ground.

Changed the oil yesterday, and I found the rp on sale so why not. Also found a dent in my exhaust, guess I must have hit something while driving..

Thanks! And I'm picking up the wheels from mounting after school, and lugs are getting here at some point today. Will be posting pics tonight with natural camber. Stay tuned for that

Got the wheels on, no camber arms, and it pokes.. Still not awful though. Needs camber in the rear a lot because it's rubbing on flat ground. Ordered my camber arms tonight and will be putting them on this Monday. Expect pics from that.

Been watching this and like the progress you've made. Maybe it's just me but I'm not digging the headlights without the glass. Also from a functionality standpoint it protects the projector lens and bulbs! You'll end up doing what you like but that's my two cents. Looking forward to seeing more.
