Hello everyone!
I've been visiting this forum for a really long time and today I decided to start a build thread of my '85 Audi 80 GTE. So, let's get started!
This is my first car which I bought during 2015 summer. I always wanted to have B2 GTE but I never thought that it is possible to find fully original one. Every single bolt and every part is in its place. However, some interior and exterior parts must be replaced because they are heavily damaged (but that's easy part). This Audi has 1.8l (82kW, 110hp) engine with full petrol injection (pretty rare engine in B2 Audis).
I bought this car from an old man who probably didn't realize what car he had. This Audi was left near barn for about 4 years and for now it is in really bad condition. So, this Audi requires a lot of love.
During the first day all the interior was taken out so I have no photos of it. A lot of work was done since then and a lot of work left to do. The Great Journey begins!
And that's where it sits now.
What are my plans? First of all, I want to make this car as original as I can, in other words, I want to make it look like it went straight from the factory. There are a lot of ideas how to make it look more stylish. I am hunting for some old school wheels which would look brilliantly on my car. Also, in my to-do list I have a custom exhaust system. That's not all but for now I will keep other plans as a secret.
P.S. Please forgive me for my english.

First glance to my old and rusty Audi:

As I already mentioned, the first thing I've done is taking out all the interior. Everything under it doesn't look really bad:

Biggest problems I have faced so far:

And this is how it looks now. Just random, creative photos:
