Semi-significant update here. Lots of maintenance work recently.. had my exhaust manifold milled, drilled, and threaded inserts done. Trying to fix this exhaust leak. Think I've got it about 95% eliminated. Need to get a custom exhaust fabbed up here real soon.. currently have it cut off right under the pedals so its rather loud and shoots flames. Also installed a weber 32/36 carb and am loving that upgrade. All new ball joints, tie rods, idler arm, pitman arm, and 4 new shocks. 3" drop blocks in the rear and some Moog springs that are made for the mighty max in the front that give about a 3" drop. Pretty excited about the results.. have a slight rake so I may knock half a coil off in the front to bring it down level.

Got the tires on and wheels mounted. Pretty excited about the fitment. Need to lower the front about 1.25" to match the rear perfectly and then work out the rubbing issues. New clutch master they sent me is no good so I can't drive the car currently :-(

Thanks boss. This will be my 3rd attempt at a clutch master. Hopefully this one works.. not sure if its because the parts have been sitting on a shelf for 25+ years and the seals dried out or what. Hoping to get the exhaust finished this week, new radiator installed, and finalize my fitment.

New clutch master remedied my problem. Cars back on the road and running great! Put about 50 trouble free miles on it this weekend.. went to a big meet in Minneapolis on Sunday. I retrofitted a larger radiator from a 78, fixed the coolant leak by the thermostat housing, rolled the fenders, and cut half a coil off the front springs to bring it down. It is almost exactly where I want but will probably knock off another half coil up front. Freakin' love this truck.

Part of me wants to go lower.. but it's just so functional right now.
