Clean and Fresh e82

Hi all this is the first real build Iv done. After selling my Golf R32 over a month ago I landed myself a stock BMW E82 in jet black, it's the 120d 177bhp SE with 45k miles. It was a massive difference from what Ive been used to but I'm more than happy with the drive and extra £££ in my pocket. Anyway my plans with the car are to get some old school O.E style Hartge deep dishes, coilovers and generally tidy it up keeping it clean and classy


First thing first I picked up a new set of BOLA tx304 18" wheels with some stretched rubber. I also removed the '120d' badge from the rear to give it a little cleaner appearance




I then had the car booked in at a well known stance specialist called 'Novaks Kustoms' not too far from me for the coilovers fitting and some new clean looking reg plates putting on. Here's the car after the coilovers were fitted. They have settled a little now so there a it lowere than what's shown. I went with budget coilovers that have a good drop capability and to be honest they ride perfectly fine.





This is where im currently up to. The next job is to get some 12mm (or more) spacers on and drop the car another 20mm adding little more camber. I want to change the stock tail pipes for a OEM looking twin pipe which I will have welded on. I'm also gonna pick up a BMWP gear knob to replace the worn stock item.

Little update on things. The cars going into Novaks on thursday for a further drop to reduce the arch gap completely along with increasing the negative camber. Once the drop has been done we can work out accuratly what size spacers im going to go with rather than ordering them now and realising there too big or too small.

I'm gonna maybe go for a 1M style front bumper Or a BMW performance for something different

I'm gonna keep my eye out for an Msport front bumper on eBay. The plan is to prep it all myself then send it for respraying, iv also seen a few splitters that could work well with the bumper. Im putting a few pennies away for a CSL style boot lid, i dont really want to fit a spoiler 1. Because i havent see one im keen on and 2. I think the CSL boot will keep the clean an smooth lines the car currently has. The BMWPerformance shifter should be arriving this week at some point.

Here a little update on the car. Since my last posts iv had it dropped some more with a little more rear camber added. Iv also fitted some 'dark line' rear lights which are slightly darker than standard an follow the lines of the boot much better. I ordered a rear duck tail spoiler painted from China for an absolute bargain price, attached it with tiger seal and touch wood it's holding up fine. I had a custom made 3" twin tailpipe made up and fitted with fills the bumper cut out much better than the stock one. Here's a few pictures;

love all of it... wheels im still on the fence about, not cause there fake(dont care) but there style, something is off. dont know what.

Cheers pal, the wheels are made by bola and are excellent quality and weren't by any means cheap. I could have bought the hartge version and spent another £1000+ but I didn't really see what benefit id have got. I wanted something with a retro style as that's the kind of look I was going for. I will probably change them again at some point but atm I'm happy with them. Thanks for looking buddy
