Got the new starter in and got the Oem Small lip swapped in. I like the look but may get a 70mm lip from spoonfeed tuning so I can have the best of both worlds.

I also put the the corrado's old seats in the Westy since it's seats were is bad shape. I had to use the passenger side on the driverside & visversa since the release for the slider is on the opposite side. I also removed the seat seats and retrim and cleaned up the back section of the car.

My grilsfriend's dad's Tundra compared to the Rabbit. I drove the tundra all weekend to get a couch for my girl friends in cinci.

Yeah the only reason it ended up at home with me is because I have always wanted a 2dr Early Westy and none never seem to pop up around the midwest unless they are being sold for parts. I will say I feel a bit ridiculous owning 3 cars, I know thats nothing for some people but to me it feels crazy. (cough, Jamie at OE with 30 cars, cough) haha

I owned a 83 4 dr with a ABA swap and it was a really fun car. I'm still debating if I should just sell the wagon after swapping the Rabbit and just upgrade and fix everything on the rabbit to make it a fun car I can drive to work daily and across country with no worries.

    Thanks man!
I did have a set in the same specs on red just with flat caps (which I'm ordering for this set soon). In all reality the corrado has become Red 2.
All the plans I had for Red just went into this car.

Yeah the more you spin it down the closer it gets to the cv boot. right now mine are about as far down as they can go before they will hit the cv boot. I'm hopeing to switch to Broadway's soon and have the shortest body possible so I dont have to worry about hitting the boots as much.

In other new new starter will be here today. I'll get that swapped in and swap out the front lips just to see if I like the look of the US lip instead of the huge 90mm lip. (May switch to a spoonfed 70mm lip, best of both worlds)

Oh and I have 3 cars now.

I could not pass up picking up a 1980 early westy MK1, I have wanted one for far too long. I have had it for a few works and really have just been fixing issues and getting it to sit more proper, which was included shorting bump stops, getting the coils to spin freely again, rolling arches and giving the front a little front camber. Hoping to swap the wheels out for something a bit more period correct. It's a fun change when 15x7 et25 with a 165/40 is an aggersive wheel set up compared to what I'm use to. I already tired the corrados old wheels but they just do not fit up front at all, hitting the strut and poking out like 2.5". It will get an aba swap at some point.

Sadly they never cam from factory with any type of side skirt (USDM or EDM). I can do an ABT rep skirts (textured or paint matched) but they really not make the sides look that much lower. I may pick a set up a textured set at some point

I have been thinking about swapping the stock g60 lip back on and see if I like the look since the car is much lower now than it was last year when it was on for a day.
