so my weekend was spent swapping front axles, just to take them back out. they were cheap rockauto axles that i thought i could make it through winter on, but they shook so bad i thought the car was going to vibrate apart.

so this update is kind of boring, but ending with some hype! ive spent the last few months really debating on selling the car to get rid of my loan. its possible to pay for the car, but a bit overwhelming with the house payments all on me. however this past week i have really been questioning whether i really want to or not. i sold my camera for a pretty decent chunk and then the guy that bought my impreza finally started straightening up and was supposed to pay me the rest of what he owed me (if you followed that build you would know its been a minute since i sold it) tomorrow he is supposed to pay me the rest. the car is pretty rough right now so i have a lot to catch up on maintenance wise.
with all of that boring shit to read comes the HYPE! if the guy follows through and actually pays me i plan to deposit the money and make a pretty massive order on saturday. alzor 803's in 17x9, full 2.0t coil pack conversion, boots for all my axles, rear brake pads (and finally put the new rotors on ive had since sowo), bigger injectors, stg1+ tune from motoza. im going to bring this car back to glory. im also thinking about having my local muffler man weld me up a full test pipe back 3" exhaust.

all the parts shipped out today except the injectors. hoping to take the car down for a week and knock everything out at once, including wheels. the snows clearing up here a bit so i figure fuck it. im the most impatient person in the world.Comment

half the parts showed up today, already call my tire shop about getting the tires swapped so i can mount the new wheels.

rest of the parts came in this morning. motoza is supposed to send me my tune sometime in the next few days, tires are getting swapped to new wheels tomorrow morning, and injectors should be getting thrown in.
today i started working on a cheap and hopefully somewhat useful catchcan set up. just need to get a few more fittings for the top breather and then elbows so i can route it.
will be cleaned up and painted to match the new valve cover color before being installed!Comment
