so this update is kind of boring, but ending with some hype! ive spent the last few months really debating on selling the car to get rid of my loan. its possible to pay for the car, but a bit overwhelming with the house payments all on me. however this past week i have really been questioning whether i really want to or not. i sold my camera for a pretty decent chunk and then the guy that bought my impreza finally started straightening up and was supposed to pay me the rest of what he owed me (if you followed that build you would know its been a minute since i sold it) tomorrow he is supposed to pay me the rest. the car is pretty rough right now so i have a lot to catch up on maintenance wise.

with all of that boring shit to read comes the HYPE! if the guy follows through and actually pays me i plan to deposit the money and make a pretty massive order on saturday. alzor 803's in 17x9, full 2.0t coil pack conversion, boots for all my axles, rear brake pads (and finally put the new rotors on ive had since sowo), bigger injectors, stg1+ tune from motoza. im going to bring this car back to glory. im also thinking about having my local muffler man weld me up a full test pipe back 3" exhaust.

thanks fam! i wish i could have kept the alzors but gotta change it up for next season. i actually got rid of the 18" mercedes wheels too. thinking ill end up running 17x9 this year. for now ive got some cheap winter stuff coming. just to keep me occupied while i wait for show season. i can never sit still.

so my weekend was spent swapping front axles, just to take them back out. they were cheap rockauto axles that i thought i could make it through winter on, but they shook so bad i thought the car was going to vibrate apart.

Makes sense, now when I think about the time i worked at a Porsche dealership, the AWD Turbos used to have staggered wheel setups from factory

Common misconception. All that has to be the same is rolling diameter. Or at least with 3% difference of eachother

so ive been thinking about wrapping my car for a little bit now. i came across some army green wrap last night and loved it. so i posted it over on the /r/stance subreddit and a guy photoshopped it on my car....i fucking love it! opinions? i will have different wheels than whats in the picture and also the lower gray trim would be wrapped as well

Staggered works, you just need to have the diameter like 3% different or something. I forget exactly how it works.

my lowers arent matched lol and yea its within 3% ive found that 215/40 in the front and 235/35 in the rear should work. if i cant trade them for a square set up my spring thats what ill end up running

You may have checked this, but is the o-ring for the rear coolant flange cracked or brittle looking? That could be your issue.

Those AMGs look good btw, nice pickup

ill check when i pull it off. if it is ill replace it and just have a backup flange since they go bad like once a week
