  • 1983 BMW 528e e28

I found this car last week on the local Craigslist. First they wanted $2500... Eventually, I offered $900 and drove it off! It had tinted windows, all new tires and brakes, the oil change was recent. All original, down to the stereo. It had a 40-50mph shimmy that a new set of thrust arms fixed. Soon after I found a deal on some wheels, tires, and spacers. I rolled the fenders, removed the vinyl pinstripes, did a little buffing/cleaning and this is pretty much where its at. The ride is excellent, however its still a little high in the front. Thinking of doing an m20b23 or m20b25 head swap (with injectors and ecu)... lowering is eventually going to be essential as well. I love all the Bimmers on here, and StanceWorks is my inspiration. I‘d love any advice, ideas, or thoughts (good or bad). Thanks for looking!

Would love to see this with an iS valence and a bit lower up front, looks clean though

Be sure to change your timing belt if you have no documentation of it being changed. Timing belt failure will make your entire engine useless in a heartbeat.

There's a sticker that shows the Continental Contitech belt was used/replaced at 190k. It currently sits at 203k.
