Whatsup Stanceworks,
Short introduction (again) because I have only 1 thread on this forum and don't post comments everywhere
I am lurkin' around often enough though.
My name is Jeroen (since childhood nicknamed Jerome so I went with it) 26 years old, and I live in Flanders, Belgium.
First car was an Alfa Romeo 156 1.9JTD, wich ended up looking like this

Drove this for about 3 years, of wich I had 2 years (combined) with trouble since it is an Italian car
Eventually got tired of fixing stuff that wasn't even supposed to be broken, so I got rid of it
Second car was a BMW E60 525d

Had this for 4 years, great car compared to the Alfa. No problems what so ever, but since I am driving alone most of the time it seemed like half a car wasted. So I decided it was time to buy a car that is a bit more sporty an fun to drive.
After weeks of searching for the perfect used car, I found it and got in contact with the owner immediatly. After mailing back and forth for a few days we arranged a meeting to go inspect the car. But in my excitement I forgot to look where the car was actually garaged... Turned out I found the only car that was located half way across Europe
But this was what I wanted, so I hopped on a plane and went to checkout the car.
Fell in love with it immediatly

I got to testdrive it, turned out driving it for an hour and a half, then got back to his appartment and arranged everything for buying it.
One week later, back on the plane and go to pick up my new toy

So I got to drive it home, wich was about 1100 km (683,5 miles). The most fun i've ever had driving a car. The BMW slogan "Freude am fahren" really suits the Z.
So now that it is home, I am planning on doing this right. I want to make the car exactly like i want.
First order of business is already taken care of. The VIP Modulars from my E60 got traded for a set of BBS RS2 2pc wheel in 18" staggered set up.

These will be turned into 3pc wheels (I might need some tips on how and where to get parts)
Also took care of the "kidneys" wich were completely flat black. I sprayed the outsides in piano black so it stands out a little bit better.

In the near future I am looking to get it lower, but I can't decide between KW V3 or Bilstein B16 coilovers. If I lived somewhere else than Belgium, I might go with BC Racing or even Broadway static, but since they can't deliver the correct paperwork I am stuck between the above mentioned choices.
My source of inspiration for this Z, is the Z4M known on these forums :

I am not going to try and copy it, but this is kind of the look I am going for.
It will however be a slow progress, since work and other hobbies have to get into my agenda too
