  • Golf mk2 Bluesy.

    Hey all,

This is the first time I've used/posted in the Stanceworks forums that I can remember, I usually frequent UK based forums but thought people here may want to take a look at my sh!t. It's nothing out of the ordinary, in fact I'm surprised you clicked on yet another mk2 thread, for that I thank you.

It all started as a tintop 1.3...

After a full water pump, gaskets, belts, oil, coolant, plugs kinda service, it was running alright, I set about making things look nice.

She's currently off the road awaiting a new turbo, having an early type 19 small style centre console fitted with radio and speaker deletion as well as a few other bits and bobs doing before I re-MOT it in march, wilwoods on the front are also on the cards.

    Thanks for looking!

Slow update, got the car back to my place instead of at a rented unit for the first time in years. Gave it a wash in the rain before tearing it apart.

casually taking out wires that aren't needed and haven't been for a long time, tracing back and depinning them properly. I'm thinking about relocating the battery and screenwash bits to the boot in the future but don't hold me to anything. Cue me not knowing what I'm doing and the car never working again ha!

I'm so bloomin lazy I've done literally nothing with this for ages, the daily shit a valve so had to get a new one which ate into funds I had set aside for the Golf. Pulled it out the other day to wash off the dust and finally have a look at these wheels.

Since I can't leave anything alone... these fell into my hands too.
