only got 4 cylinders done last night, I pulled everything apart and realized I had ordered the newer 1 piece valve seals mistakenly. Luckily I found a set of fel-pros locally, but there went another hour chasing down the parts.

It was long! Lots of tweaking. They are kind of hard to access but it was totally worth it. Car sounds incredible and you can hear it coming from a ways away.

I once reved a LS1 to the moon and kept it there.. It was unique.

Nice! The springs will make the cam lobe more noticeable too.

                      • Loved the attention to detail on the last build, and already loving the detail on this build. C5 has always had a place in my heart. Something about those pop up headlights..

Ps. The BMW sig is clever

Still running stock cam, no immediate plans to change it out.

car is back together. broke a PCV line while reassembling, had to rob a rubber coupler off the truck intake I had in the basement and splice her up. Also forgot to plug in the OPSU AFTER the intake was torqued, boy was that fun.

Waiting on a mail order tune from a shop, the current VE and timing is not at all close to what it needs to be for what i'm running, I'm sure AFR is way off.

The front leaf spring crack is getting worse so that needs to be replaced ASAP as it's a safety concern. I bought a very clean low mile unit on ebay, it showed up last week looking all purdy.

I am aware that this build is not very "stancey", but....

finally ordered some lowering bolts from Zip Corvette, should be in this week, They will get installed along with the new spring.

Test fitting of E39 M5 wheels will occur this weekend also. Offsets are quite a bit lower, but should get close to flush. We shall see.

                          • In4 cosmetics and gayboy stancey stuff. Cool V8 building though I want to see videos of this thing doing what it should be, which is burnouts. I'll wait for you to mount the tires though.
