Looks cool dude. Should look awesome when you sort the exhaust and get some tyre up in the arches!

    love this! so clean!
man the roads in socal must be smoooth to get away with that! my subframe is about 4cm off the ground and it smacks the road when theres a sudden bump.

    Awesome. I love this.

Only thing that would make me love it even more would be if you'd put center caps on those wheels.

    UPDATE! finally...

It's been almost a year since my last real update. I finally got some new tires on and spun the coils down another inch. Ground to fender is 21" all the way around. Exhaust is 3/4" from the ground. I will definitely need to get that taken care of. Here are a few quick pics. I will try to take some better ones this weekend.

OEM wheels while tires were being mounted.

Thats my jack and my jack stands (aka cement blocks)

    Tires on!

The exhaust will definitely be a problem.

Drove it around. Drives great. Very smooth.

    Very nice mate!

I've got an 80, 1981 b2. I'm also battling with suspension at the mo!

This looks sweet, keep it up!

    Good stuff!
Was wondering how you decided on spring rates and valving for strut inserts. Did you compare them in any way with stock spring rates or relation to max axle weights?
I have a similar audi, but a tad bigger same chassis as urs4 but only fwd with a diesel engine. Want to do similar custom suspension, but a bit skeptical on using golf parts since regular springs are rated for 1200kg axle load.
Could you please supply more info on choosing rates.

Looking good man I'll be watching this one. Sell me your center caps if you get tired of those wheels.
