What's up guys,
I just picked up a car that i've been dying to get for about 10 years, a 60's beetle. I've loved these cars since I was a kid, and something about them has always been appealing to me. I'm really excited about this car and what's to come with it! I don't know much about air-cooled cars, so this is going to be a learning experience. Any insight would be very helpful.
This car has a 6" narrowed beam, 1" motor mount risers, bus nose cone for the tranny, all new seals, disc brake kit, new heater channels, all new sectioned floor pan with a pie cut up front, and a few other things that just need to be installed on the car. It's ready to be laid out.
I have a pretty cool vision for this car, and it just needs the hours put into it for it to happen. Thanks for looking!
When i picked the car up in Massachusetts

Back at my shop in New York

Pile of parts

Now the fun stuff.. the floors of the car.. can you say non-existent?

The solution to that.. new pan

Couple extra shots

Now, onto the body mounts inside the car that hold it to the pan

Also, a little something of what's to come
