  • Time for some '69 Mercedes action

Whats a happenin', S|W People! Long time lurker, first time build thread'r (?)

Lets start off by introducing myself. My name is Aaron, 23 and living in Washington.

T'was the night before January 3rd and I was roaming Craiglist out of boredom and stumbled across this 1969 Mercedes 220.
After talking to the guy, almost dying on the way there and just $200 monies later, I was the owner of a '69 w115.
I've always wanted a older benz and now was the time.

Quick list of Plans & Aspirations
    • Get'r running
    • Clean'r up
    • Lower the beotch as close to the ground as possible
    • Paint

Not necessarily in that order haha

Some people will never understand it, why we do what we do.

Hell of a find, bumpers alone are worth more than you paid for the car. Subscribed.

                  Lackluster update

Welp, not a whole lot done today thanks to the weather gods being assholes and no covered parking.
But what I was able to do was get'r started and running. Not driving yet,
believe the slave or master cylinder is out. Clutch won't retract but clutch does engage/disengage.

So here are a couple random shots.

Just look at that lovely engine bay.

Added coolant, oil and cleaned the plugs and she started up
after the help of some starting fluid. Quick videuh

Oh, and I've had this sitting around for a couple months.
Maybe it'll go in the Audi or possibly the Benz
