Before I buy wheels and tires I would like to see some opinons

this is what I'm thinking. Its already dropped, but its not low enough, so I have short stroke struts on order from an MR2 and I'm going to cut my front strut tubes down to lower the coil-sleeve, and add camber plates (all on the same order and its late) the rear I installed an adjustable perch that still has some low left in it.

Then because I want to ride this car low and bring it on a track it cant be slammed on the body on the floor, it has to remain reasonable lol I was thinking of going with a staggared XXR 513 wheel set up (the only wheels that will cover my BBK in my budget range) and cambering it a bit, I already have a camber kit installed in the rear. There is a reason for the uber heavy kinda cheapish XXR is that if I end up in a sand pit or drift into a curb I wont cry when my mag explodes, so no ****** please.

16x8 0 offset in the back (will need spacer)
16x7 +15 in the front for staggared effect (might need small spacer to clear BBK still, and for flushness)

    Falken azenis 912

    245/50/16 rear
    225/50/16 front

Thorowing this around for the moment, what you guys think?

you know what the problem is though? They dont make them in 45 profile

I'm stuck with 50s for that width or I get skinny tires, and thats gay on this car....

i'd go 8's all around, i wouldn't stagger with a 7in wide front. Plus if your going to auto-x then why limit yourself like that.

the 0 offset doesnt sit good in the front....

let me see if I can get you an example

this guy obvioulsy doesnt have any suspension work done yet, but look how odd the 0 offset is in the front. These cars are made weird, the difference of track from front to back is visible so if you run 0 on all 4 its almost looks reverse staggared.

I would go 17's on that car, something like 17x9 and 17x10's doesn't sound too crazy. Just throwing that out there I don't have a clue about offsets for that car but Im sure someone can chime in.

you dont find that 17 might get rid of the old school feel of the car?

I just got my photoshoot uploaded this morning! Dont be fooled by the title, I have to get them to fix that asap, it should rear 5mge for now and I'd add a lawl

Sound like E30's. Because of the camber when you lower it, you are gonna need spacers for the back, if you run a square setup.
But if you run a staggered; like 17x9 / 17x10 you are best of running the same offset all around. Seems its the same with your car, not because its build "weird".

                And 17x9 / 17x10 would look sick with some 215/35 & 225/35.

Keep those wheels, get smaller tires, and go lower. IMO it'll be perfect after that.
