'11 Fusion Build up

Hey whats up everyone here's a new and uncommon build in the stance world. It's a 2011 Ford Fusion that I bought back in 2014 but wasn't gonna do much to it since its a daily, but after seeing one built up on another stance website I suddenly got the itch to do the same to my own lol.

So here we go...............

Heres the car the day I got it...

Monster truck status





Then the first thing I looked into and bought were coilovers. Here's the ST Suspension coilover kit



Not sure if it says it in this pic but the box says that the kit is for a 06-08 Fusion, but the only difference between the '06-08 Fusions and the '10-12 fusions is just the body style. The chassis setup is just the same.

Other than that the coils do their job and the ride isnt to stiff or bouncy and they've been on for a few months now so no problems to report. They're perfect IMO.

Could use some tint? But thats something for the future.

Its still sitting on stocks right now but in the spring I'll have a wheel and tires setup. I'm still deciding on wheels, but I have some ideas. I know It'll be an 18x10 setup with an aggressive offset (possibly squared)

That only other things done to it besides the coils is...

-Yellow'd HID fogs
-HID Low beams
-New Lug nuts
-New tires

Yea small list is small lol but it'll get bigger over time

Thinking about red'ing out the tails and blacking out my grille with plasti-dip when the weather gets better.

Thanks. I wasnt sure how it was gonna turn out at first but I'm glad its off to a good start.

Plus all cars look better when they're dropped lol

On a side note, your OEM wheels kinda remind me of Lambo Gallardo wheels....lol. You should buy some adapters and run some Gallardo wheels for that "I'm a baller but I like the OEM+ look".

Yea true this car is rare in the scene but yea I've seen that Fusion in a youtube video before and man that thing is nice and clean! Love the rolling shots on his profile! Definitely an inspiration there.

Got a few ideas that I'll be doing...

Interior wise

I wanna switch out my steering wheel for one of these......because tired of the stock one




Grip Royal Teggi (black) w/ brushed silver center and chrome crest horn button kit.

This is what my interior looks like so the wheel will blend in but give the cabin a subtle classy touch.....



Thinking about a different shift knob too (from its proper or somebody like that) and I'm gonna run out to a fabric store and put up a new headliner since the factory one has a bunch of deep stains and tiger claw scratches in the front passenger side.

For the headliner I'm trying to find a cool pattern that'll match up with the rest of the interior but pop at the same time and give it a unique twist. Maybe digital camo if I can find it.

Ok on to the exterior....

Wheel Spoiler: I know for a fact that they'll be 18x10 or 18x10.5 and polished with big lips though.Just gotta figure out the offset I need and I'll be good to go by this summer.

Also thinking about 20% tint, redding out my tails, and dipping my grille black, but the silver/chrome'ish look blends in well with the rest of the car so I'm still on the fence about that.

Oh and I gotta get a new amp. I miss my bass

That's it for now but this looks like its gonna be a less is more/simple and clean build. Nothing too crazy on this car but I want it to stand out at the same time.

Ok finally got my touch up paint so I can fix those little annoying chips and marks on my bumper and other small parts of the car once the weather gets better.

Ugh FML

Got in the car at work today and started it up and the steering wheel was all locked up. Then I finally got it loose and got a power steering error message and the power steering (EPS) went out. Made it home ok though but the cars gonna be down for a bit until I can get it to the shop
