  • Nice progress! Love it.
Looking forward to your work and how it's all going to look.

Curious, what are you planning to do with the gas tank lid / cap?
And are you getting rid of the turn signal on the front bumper? Or just forming the body around it?

Don't tell me life is so short, what have you done that's longer?

Gas lid opens with flare installed. Turn signals will stay on the car. Fenders are formed around them. I could have shortened the rub strip and deleted the light but thought it would be less work to just shape around it. I don't mind how it looks either.

Photo dump from the show. It was a crazy last few months of intense focus and labour. I had lots of help from my good friends. We finished right at 4 am the friday before trailering the car 10 hours out of province to Montreal, Quebec. The show (Eurokracy) was amazing and the car received alot of attention from photographers, video and media people. I was invited to other shows by promoters, and even slid right into top 100 at the last second! I came away with best wheels and would have taken best MK4 golf but my motor wasn't running. WHich is fine because I was just happy to be there and to meet people. Some of these pics are from photogs who I may not identify correctly so tag the person if you know.

                    • This has to be the most amazing Mk4 I have seen so far.
Hats off to you sir for having a vision and the skills to build it, I am hoping one day you'll bring it out to SoCal!

                          • I follow(ed) this build on instagram. Nothing short of awe inspiring. Seriously. The attention to detail, the fact that most of the work was done by yourself. Your MK4 is a (soon to be) rolling work of art, and should be viewed as such!
