Got the lathe working and my chuck set up to split wheels and brush lips/face etc. Here are some pics of the welded side being machined back to create a wider flange for the barrel to sit against. The more I cut the faster I get! I'm gonna do a set of bottle caps next with reverse/hidden hardware.

Welp that's one way to get rid of the one size fits all faces/lip for anything under +38 offset.
