I do too man, I love knowing that someone before me was passionate about building the car, I'm so fortunate that it ended up in my hands, just disappointed in the kid that ruined it.

Head is ready to be pressure tested, block is cleaned and ready for paint. Thinking of just painting it silver unless someone has any fun ideas worth doing.







Machine shop also cleaned up my X brace, front swaybar, X member, and control arms



I bought a suede OMP 330mm targa for my Pro 3 E30 build so my leather one goes on to my M3!

My girl friend is house sitting for this rich family in Seattle so we get to stay here in this mansion.



I don't have any 3mm Alan bits so I decided to improvise to save some time

The reason I'm rebuilding this motor - over boost caused detonation to cylinder 3. I'm on the hunt for a good package deal on JE 87mm pistons, cast iron rings with Eagle rods - aiming for a 9:1 compression ratio



I got my head back from the machine shop!




Also put together my E30 for the 2nd time this month - first time I tried fixing the HG I never took the head to the machine shop because the temp never went past 3/4's but it was definitely warped so I picked up a freshly decked and machined 885 with brand new valve springs, stems, and I assembled it with my delta cam and original rocker arms. This time I did the whole job in 2 days!
