  • My story- from the MK5 to an E30 turbo

Hello guys, first of all i want to introduce myself a little bit.

My name is David, iīm 23 Years old and i live in Austria.
My first car was a 96īMK3 VR6,i bought it at the age of 16 and i owned it about 2 years until the car bored me.Unfortunately iīve got no pictures of the car right now.

After selling the MK3 it took me about 1,5 years to decide which car i want to buy next.
The next one i bought was a 2008 MK5 GTI with 80000 kilometers in very good condition.
First of all the MK5 needed more LOW , i ordered H&R Coils with a lowering until 140mm.
A few weeks later the next parts for the car arrived.I installed a 390mm brakesystem from an Audi R8 with 8piston calipers in the front, 19" OZ-Ultraleggera Wheels and a few small i things i donīt want to list.

Here are some pictures how i drove it for about 2 years.

Until the day i got fucked up by the police. Here in Austria you have to get an approval for every mod you do on your car an thatīs not easy to keep everything legal and my car was definitly no legal for the Austrian streets.

I lost the motivation for the car and decided to sell it.
After selling the GTI a new search began.Meanwhile i yuilt a few BMW E30īs with a friend of mine, amongst other things we put a 5.0L V12 an E39 M5 and a M50 engine into 3 different E30īs.
After a long search i bought an E30 Touring with a very powerful 1.8L engine and 116 horsepower
First of all i startet to part out the interior of the car and installed a rollcage.
The plan is to install a 2.5 M50 engine without Vanos from the E36 325i.
After the engine swap i want to overswap the engine and rebuild it with a Turbo.
I almost have all the Parts together including the engine and the turbo parts.
In the beginning i want to run a Garrett GT3076 and arround 420-450 horsepower.

I have to take pictures oft the car, until now i couldnīt motivate myself to start the building so the car is standing in the garage.

In the next few days i will post a few pics of the E30 and maybe iīm going to show you my daily ride which is a MK3 1.9D with powerful 65 Horsepower. I got coils on the MK3 and some 15" wheels, this is the setup for the upcoming winter and the most important thing is the exhaust pipe which shoots the diesel-smoke directly into the face of the guys behind me

sorry for my bad english guys i hope you understand the most important things.

      Hello guys

today i thought about putting the oz futuras which i bought for the E30 on my mk3.

They are 9x17 offset 30 and 8x17 with an offset of 25. i have to run them with 2cm adapters because the futuras are 5x112.

That's how they look on the car, i hope that i can make them fit only with camber but we'll see.
I don't want to get fucked by the cops again but this is far away from streetlegal in Austria anyway.

      Peace

        Hi guys

Some things chanced in the meanwile.
I put some 8x15 Artec S1 on the mk3 and lowered it a little more.
I'm not really happy with the 15's so im thinking about to buy some 16inch wheels.

Last weekend we started to prepare the golf for a paintjob which we can hopefully do the next weekend.

Some pictures of the car right now
