My First Mk2. '90 Jetta Toy

I went and traded my Audi Fox for a Mk2 Jetta.

Drives like a dream. Super clean shell. Needs paint. Easily cruises at 75mph. Odo is stopped at 180k.

1990 Jetta GL
As I recieved it....

• New brakes all around
• Reman steering rack
• Reman PS pump
• New radiator
• New tires
• Recaros

What I am thinking

• Engine swap
• G60 brakes
• Rear disks
• Mk4 02J or MK6 02M
• cnc sweet stuffs

Finally squeezed in the swap car. First matter of business is seeing how much we can remove off the harness and still allowing the ecu to work. Normally I would need the key, cluster, ecu, and I think the canbus gateway...but I only want the ecu on its own. Since I have yet to see any other true TSI swap in anything.....it will be nice to do something first.

exactly....since no one has figured it out yet. Ill make it happen.

ECU has been immo defeated. Engine pulled. Waiting to trade the 6 speed for a 5 speed.
