It took a lot of effort,but the rear axle has been swapped.
During easter i already gave the front of the car some more camber.
Now it drives fantastic,really predictable and a lot faster around corners.

Today i drove some laps on the track in Zandvoort NL.
After a few laps i didn't have any brakes anymore,due to overheating.

Last saturday we had a BBQ with de dutch chapter of S|W,and one of the guys made some awesome shots of the 75 after i took him for a drive

A few weeks ago me and my dad built a workbench in my garage,so i could go and work on some things for the 75.
The gearbox of an alfa transaxle is a known issue,the synchromeshes are of not to great quility,so after some years shifting means crunching gears if you don't dubble clutch.
The last few years i drove on the street most of the times,and with some dubble clutching the worn transmission was mannageble,but as i started driving on track more and more,the gearbox is becoming a problem.
Thank god i had 2 gearboxes laying around from a 2-litre twinspark,wich has a slightly longer end reduction,and more important,an LSD

So,having a nice workbench,i took the first gearbox out of my shed en started taking it apart.








After that i put gearbox nr2 on the workbench and drained the oil,and while doing that i found a large piece of metal on the oilplug magnet,so box nr2 will be the one giving up parts i need for box 1.

Took some effort,but eventualy i got the axles holding the gears out of box nr2 to take out the synchromeshes.



Next week i'll be taking the gears out of box 1,so i can replace the synchro's and rebuild the box,also orderd some new rubber bushings,and a pair of refurbished rear calipers,since those are mounted to the gearbox.
