Ok guys. Shaved them super close, but still left a metal lip so it didn't split.
Then I rolled the little lip back. Perfect fit back there. Rubs occasionally due to body flex. Will post a photo of it soon!

That makes sense. I had wondered about doing that but putting a tack weld every inch or so on the lip just to keep them together.

What was the reason for your switch to the broadways from the BCs?

Hey, I'm back.
Anyways - simple. The BC's were not stiff enough and rode like shit maxed out. I needed stiffer springs anyways, and the broadways ride way better then the BC's did.

So tonight, I sold my OEM bumper.
Also sold my CSL style lip and a bunch of other parts.
I was lucky enough to find an ECS CSL rep, brand new on a local BMW group.
I got it for 200 bucks, it's already being paint matched.
Currently...

Interesting about the BC's.... I'm on HSDs at the moment with 7kg front and 8kg rear (barrel spring). I've just ordered 16kg fronts and 18kg rears (converting to linear with BC pirches & adjusters) so I can go lower. The HSDs look like they will just about go short enough to pre load the rears. Will see how it rides, never been this stiff before

Do you run the shocks on full hard still too or have you backed them off with the stiffer springs?

Haha no worries, my shocks are set to the BWS preset with is almost all the way soft. My springs are 18k 20k though. It works well for me

At least springs are reasonably inexpensive and can be swapped out if needed!

Think I might mount them up when I get my CSL style back from paint.

booty goals. is there any actual ride comfort on 18k/20k springs or is it essentially solid? I'm presuming solid for dat fitment

It's smooth on good roads.
Bumpy roads are horrific though.
Broadway did a great job with these coilovers
