well..... here's how it ALL started for me.....

A couple years back, when i was around 17 years old, i was daily driving my 1987 vw cabriolet. i loved that car. but i did her wrong... my tubby dumb friend Ian, who i love dearly, had freshly lost his license (again) and had his 2005 Impreza RS wagon sitting behind his girlfriends fathers garage. Being the audacious little fuck i am, i was DYING to move out of my moms which meant i needed to build a credit. i had (HAD) a committed job at a little wire factory in my town as an extruder operator making very good money. whilst needing to build credit and already having a good job, i decided id take out my first ever loan to buy Ian's car as a daily at 124k miles and build some credit so i could one day move out. sooner rather than later, i hoped.
it wasnt too long before Ian decided to pull the 2.5 out (to fix the tranny he blew up!!!) and then gears started turning, and bays started shaving!


Here is how the bucket of shit was when i got it. Nothing special, really, just your run of the mill Subaru Impreza RS. Coils, Wheels, and thats it. it wasnt long until i realized it wouldnt remain a perfect little daily for long.

After a few weeks i decided to pick up some adapters and some mark 4 wheels to try on. I did the stereotypical "i try too hard" lip to impress bitches. it didnt work. haha.

wasnt too long before i decided id ditch the lip, get the bumper resprayed, and paint the VW wheels a nice white. went into bro mode and tossed a sweet rack on. held on with only the FINEST of zip ties, naturally. then came the inevitable.....
i lost my license. i know, i know. spare the tears.
much like every pissy little bitch teenager, i sold the car. for far too little. i pulled the coils and wheels off and donated them to a good friend (who later sheltered me when i became homeless) and launched the subaru at 126 thousand miles to a kid i went to school with. thats when i realized what life really is. long story short..
-sold the bro mobile
-got kicked out, homeless
-bought a beater 240 volvo daily
-bought an e30
-got an apartment
-got a promotion/raise
-lost license agian
-took advantage
-got fired
-homeless agian
-lost license again
-moved back home....
and then it happened. dirty hippy jobless me found the bromobile for sale again, and the flame ignited again. i needed to do the car right.
and shes back! decided id pull the motor and freshen the bay up (it needs it) and do the typical head gaskets and t belt and shit...

she had a bad passenger fender still, but is the same car more or less as when i got rid of it, but only with 130k now.
i decided id go with some sedan fenders and rear quarters and respray her myself to lengthen my skills a bit.
the wrx parts car i picked up with a buddy that will donate some rear doors, a less rotted core support that ill have to adapt to an 05 set up, and at least one quarter, as the others not so great.
couldnt for the life of me find ANYYYY passenger front sedan tins for a blob eye under 200 dollars, so naturally in good fashion im going to make one.

heres the mint 06-07 fender i found for 37 bucks. not bad.

...... what needs to be added to the hawk eye box flare
... and how it looks tacked a few times and in place.


lines up pretty well if i do say so myself...
and the story shall continue as i do!
Got the red fender painted up a few days ago.. not too sure how i feel about the color. looks great, cam out even better, just not sure how id like it in the long run..

scooped up a free To4e t3/t4 turbo for free thanks to some faggy member (cough cough) @dremetos. tore it down for a rebuild and to check it out a bit and make sure it is something worth running someday. not on this, but on something someday. although boost has crossed my mind.........

super rainy day, which fucking blows... looking through some pictures of when my buddy that i bought the car from just picked her up from the wreckers haha. car was actually totaled and... as scary as it is, a woman passed away in the car. i think thats why im truly trying to polish such a big turd.


and some old bay pics for you fellas. soon to be coming back apart after body work in which ill be redoing alot of the bay, YES a new color too.

rain decided to fuck off for a bit, which is rad. December in Massachusetts and its 54 degrees out. ill take that..





went ahead and found a set of wagon rear hatch struts i had. ground down the hood side rotator head so itd clear the fender. clears perfectly. drilled and tapped the hood hinge for them, then nut and bolted the bay side into the upper frame rail. worked out perfectly. even kept the fenders body lines fairly decent. cannot complain at all yet.
sanded down the custom fender a bunch more too, BUT am thinking it MIGHT not work out... i believe its shorter where the fenders bolt to the bumper on sedans, as opposed to wagons.


and then proceeded to cut out the lower rad support due to it being very very rotted. hoping my bug eye one will splice in with no problems. i dont see why it should cause an issue


tore into it a bit more in prep of the new quarters and to REALLY look at this thing. all the black brackets are starting to rust, as is the bumper beam. will have to take care of that as well as some very oblonged bumper bracket holes. also showed some accident damage in the rear. trunk floor is separating from the chassis. oh joy.








REALLY CANT WAIT for when i find a POSITIVE surprise in all this hahaha

copped HELLA shit from a buddy tonight for the decent price of free. thought that was an okayyyyyyyy price, but hes a friend, so i gave him what he was asking...
doors, passenger 1/4, gas door and bracing, a nardi, a hub adapter (with a column i dont need.....) wipers, cause soomebody stole mine, and a lower rad support finally. going to look at a sedan front end tomorrow, fingers crossed.

going to be taking things to all sorts of new levels for me. luckily i have some help from some friends who can help me learn the arduino systems and ways!!!!!


got the nardi in. andddddd i **** it. welp.

quarter ready for some trimming, fixing the dents once its on the car and ready

got some bitch work done today. cut into my cars flawless quarter. no turning back now....
rivited the sedan skin on so i could get good lines to cut upon...
very nervous on how this is all going to go. ive done plenty of body work before, its just always on a customers car, not mine! haha. itll all be worth it.



also think i decided upon a color, but dont wanna give that out just yet. it IS a stock subaru color, feel free to guess.
should probably finish these fuckers up someday....

welded up one of the quarters up top. body line is a little off, but easily adjustable since its not tacked up top. in for progress now.
