Got a few nice shots tonight. Probably the last few pics of the car out for a little. My drivers side axle binds hardddd when I hit any sort of bump or take a right turn, So i gotta take the front end apart and extend my front LCA's or raise the motor/trans. Im leaning towards doing the LCA's as I know its been done, and ive already extended my rears so im confident in that. Raising the engine/trans would be a learning process and I dont want the car to be apart forever. Not right now anyways. Well see what happens.

    Heres the pics.

Thankyou! and I agree, more people should DIY things. mess it up a few times before getting it right maybe, in the end youll have learned things you can only learn by doing it the wrong way first lol Thanks for the kind words

lol the el camino is more of a father/son project. I do all the metal work and rust repair and hes doing the bondo/paint side of it. It sat outside for 20 years so by the time I learned enough to start the project it was rusted like crazy. Ill toss a few pics in of it if people are interested.

thanks! The polished aluminum really does accent the rust quite well haha

lol the more I look at the thread the more I'm finding things I don't like about the car. Well, more/less just things that can be improved upon, which is always a good thing.

I say keep the white patches or fully paint it
I really dont know what I want to do now, I change my mind way too much with this thing lol Im thinking of keeping whats left of the white white, shinning up the non painted spots to look like the new fender, and keeping the rust. But idk how thatd look. painting the whole car is kinda out of the question, im not painting a car that has dents everywhere. so if I ever paint it I gotta do a few hundred hours of body work first lol

Took it for another drive today, snapped some more pics with my camera. working on uploading them now.

This was the first spot I went to to take pictures, and these are the only two that turned out okay. I actually really like these two.
