So I finally got the car in a place where I can work on it and make progress in its revival. But first here's some more pics of the damage. In this photo the wheel is turning completely the opposite as the side, due to a torn Tie Rod.

Here you can see my WiseFab drift knuckles being put to use, lol. Nope the wheel got pushed back at least 5 inches and the spring would have popped out if pushed any further. I betcha never seen a benz tucking vertically and horizontally.

Saw this little slow guy while I was in the tow truck today.

Aaaaaaand BOOM, fender is off, bumper is off, everything must come off! Luckily I was able to save the rotor, caliper and strut surprisingly.

If you own a mercedes from this era, you will know the annoyance that is the 7mm allen...these things are so hard to find for some reason. Maybe its jsut the 50 mile radius around me but I was lucky enough to find one at O'reilly's today.

This makes me sad but happy because I know now that my frame is totally ok and that the parts actually aren't going to cost that much, the ThotXpress will live again.

Might I mind you the sway bar is in the correct position and that is how far the control arm bent and collapsed....

You pay for shipping and these are yours if you need them. mount them with adhesive or something because the clips are broken but they work perfectly fine I believe.

Once I get back home I'll make sure to post up that Exhaust video, its amazing. ANyways I'm super happy this car is going to be back on the road in no time. Till next time SW.

Wow, so today has been one of those days. It started out amazing because I finished my exhaust but ended terribly. Here's a pic of the exhaust, in all of its glory. Boy did it sound good I'll post the video I took later.

Aaaaaand here's what happened about two hours ago.

It's completely safe to say that I'm extremely depressed but I'm also happy to say that this is going to be the start of my actual build. It's time to put some big boy pants on and fix this shit. From just an eyeball diagnosis I can say it needs a new LCA, Tie Rod, Strut, Shock mount, possibly a hub and steering knuckle, sway bar, fender, bumper, and obviously, a new wheel and tire. Moral of the story, don't drive on bald tires in the rain around a turn and no I was not drifting. This build is about to get a little interesting with a splash of depressing. Here's some more pics, if any of you guys have any experience with a repair like this and could give some advice I would greatly appreciate it.

    Reps will be reps.

    Chunky Monkey

Well, I'm honestly happy that my friend and I are safe and we walked out without a scratch. Till next time SW.

So Areola is finally getting worked on today, lol. The exhaust is all mocked up and I'll post pics later when it's done. It's gonna be so loud. Disregard the shitty rear bumper Im picking up an AMG kit soon. Also disregard my shit cutouts because they are just for tip placement lmao.

I was seriously surprised by the sound of this, sounds great. Although most V8s are glorious.

I'll see if I can get a video of me driving by today after school. One of my friends is going to be making me a video so I'll make sure to include some exhaust in there as well.

Thanks man! how did you go about posting it like that so I know for future reference? And yes, the straight pipe is going to be nuts I just have to figure out the piping so I can go lower and not scrape through it like I am right now.

    Update:
I went ahead and bit the bullet on cutting out my spare tire well... I needed the room for my exhaust and I was rubbing a hole in it anyways. I will be welding in a replacement cover next week but for now this is what I have done.

I know.... I'm crazy but don't worry, not much more cutting going down on this car. I also sorted out the issue I was having in the back. It turns out it was just the brake pad pin retainer plate that had broken and was rubbing so I simply removed it and BOOM problem fixed(ish). With that being done I have extra moneys to spend on stupid car parts so I'll be purchasing things tonight and I'll update in the morning after I sleep off the bad decisions Oh and I'm trying to figure out how to post a sound clip of my exhaust, I'm probably just gonna link a youtube video if that works.
