  • E90M3 Daily driver

New to the E9x world, but not to the m world. After having my E46 m3 coupe SMG for around 2 years and 40k miles it was a bit time to move on to something a bit more refined.

I loved my E46 but after now being married and always having family in town putting people in the back seat of coupe when the wife has the sedan is just not pleasant. After doing 2k worth of bushing replacement on my E46 last week I said it's time to move on. I posted E46 up forsale and withn in 3 days she was sold or rather paid for. Now that I was free of an additional car note. I was able to look for a e90m. I wanted dct and navi and was not willing to settle of anything else, which proved to be difficult to find in a non salvaged or high milage condition. Saturday night I finally found one in TN and bought my ticket to go pick it up. The next after noon before i could pack my bag, the wife found a 09 dct navi JB sedan in town that had just posted. I cancelled my ticket that night after speaking with the sales rep that that happened to be at the dealer. Well this morning I walked in to the dealer and with in 45 mins later was the proud owner of a 49k 09 dct navi jb E90M sedan.

After buying the car i took it straight to Meister Motoring of south florida to have the car looked over and to have the OEM exhaust mod with res delete.

The New m3 next to my no sold E46 M3.

Car could used a good compound a polish so I will order in supplies to start this weekend.

So I got the dyno'd to see what it makes as a baseline before I start with power mods. Not sure if this is higher or lower than average but the car made 343whp and 250WTQ, car continued to climb in power after each run but we stopped at 343.

After I had my ACM Test pipes installed, and holly hell the car is load, I may acutally have my resantors put back in to tone it down a bit. I would say the car is boarding on the line of more bark then bit.

Shout out to ACM for the great test pipes and quick shipping. I received them 3 days after ordering them.

Was bored last night and went and took a few pics. also finaly got a few snaps of my IND jerez black paint matched interior trim. the pics don't do it justice. looks so much better thtna the cheap looking carbon leather trim that came in the car.

So got the car realigned finally much happier with the front clearance, car now is at -1.8 front and -2.8 rear. I would like to get it closer to stock in the rear but I can't complain about only 1 degree out of factory spec. I don't plan to pulling my fenders so this will have to do.

Great daily driver and tasteful mods.
                Painted reflectors would be nice.
