Picking up some Blue footwell lights on Friday to match my interior dials, very excited seeing as it gets dark real early now so I'll be using them a lot.

Re drilling wheels to 4x100 is a option too, it's not to expensive. I'm sure a shop around the London area can do it
I'd rather not redrill, never liked the thought of it (unless I can pick up style 32s for cheap haha)

I offered those options because I am 17 as well and know the struggle. I previously went the OEM Plus route and it was pretty cool but nothing like what I planned for my car. Then I went to deep dish steelies and that just wasn't the best lmao. I wish i would have sourced a cheap set of replica BBS because if you can find a set that are slightly more solid than those you WILL be fine. My best friend has been running replica BBS's on his e92 335i for almost a year now and hasn't had any issues whatsoever. DO what you want but don't overspend for what is just in the end, a set of wheels for your car. It was a suggestion, I didn't send a direct link to ship them from the U.S I was just saying that was a stable route that wouldn't run you more than $600 total.

a super quick 5 Minute Classified Search on what you can get for 250€ from Germany...and shipping will be like a tenth of what shipping on those reps would cost:
That didn't even cross my mind because I'm from the states haha, I buy all of my wheels off of craiglslist but this kid was making a huge point about his budget so I was only offering those as an option

Ive owned three different sets of real wheels within the last year and I know wheels.I have also owned replica wheels. I just wouldn't tell a kid who's on a budget to get real wheels because that's where I messed up. I also didn't think to tell him to go on craigslist or other classifieds because thats where you can get truly messed up. I ordered a set of Lorinser's off the classifieds and when they arrived they had numerous cracks and couldn't hold air, even though the seller said otherwise.

Buying reps is the worst idea ever, first of all, they are reps. Second of all, the quality is often pretty bad. Third, why buy a set of wheels for 500€ and then have no value to them. I see lots of reps sell for like 40-50% of their retail price. Just wait on the wheels, keep searching and you'll find something worthy if you're determined enough.

Oh trust me, I've been there as well

Although at 17 I was still tinkering with scooters instead of cars #EuropeLife

No worries Evan I understand everyones point of view, no one knows what I'm gonna do wheel wise (not even myself)
Still got some little jobs to tick of the list, so I'm looking forward to the weekend so I can take care of those

Well I've not done anything to the car yet, so I dont even have a taste yet

I could have been tinkering with scooters too but I've never been drawn to anything on two wheels apart from a bicycle if I'm honest, I dont know why .
My brother on the other hand loves them

Wasn't really too sure if I wanted to share this with you but whatever, thought the guys over seas could have a nice insight into the automotive life of 17 year olds lol

Everyone remembers their and their friends first cars, so me and my mates decided to take some pics to look back on years from now.

                      Look how high it is!

Need pay day to hurry up so I can do some actual things to this car. I've noticed I got 3 pages worth of build thread with the biggest part of my build being me colouring my badge in haha I feel like I'm breaking the secret S|W code of conduct
Also the blue LEDs I wanted for the footwell sold out when I went to pick them up

Pretty set on getting ROTAs too, theres an ebay auction atm which I have my eye on but it all depends on how much they go for.
I feel more desperate to get rid of those Halford's specials than I am keen on going low
Will be picking up xenon bulbs too to refresh the look the car a bit.
Also I'm leaving alone the idea of a GTI grill for now as everyone has one and I'm getting to like the slatted grill a bit more.

Engine light came on again, and turned off again after about 10 minutes of driving. What can I say, I do like to live life on the edge

I live in a small town in South London called Sutton. Speed bumps everywhere but I'll manage

Also getting paid tomorrow boy oh boy

when I was out there I didn't see a single speed bump that could compare to a lot of the ones we have here

Presume you were in central London right?

Around here you get sets of three thin speed bumps, a normal car can aim at either of the three and glide over cause the wheels are far apart enough.

This will not be the case for me
