    Right.
The black plastic on my rear badge was very faded. In fact, it wasn't even black anymore.
It was like a boring grey colour.
Seeing as it was an inexpensive fix, and I got home from school a bit earlier today I gave it quick update.

Subtle touch, but one that needed doing

    Before and after

Bare in mind it was still fresh when I took the pictures, so when it dries up it wont have the streaks in it.

Also, seeing as I had the black paint corrector I decided to touch up my drivers side wing mirror.
It was in appaling condition. It's not perfect now but it's definitely better.

    Before and after

Theres still loads of bits and bobs that I need to touch up on, but I ran out of sunlight.

    Damn you winter

Ah! another kid on here, Im also 17 and I'm on my second Mercedes haha. I feel you with the budget thing I'm working 35 hours a week plus school and barely have any money to spend on my Benz. I don't know if you have found wheels yet but you can get a set of cheap deep dish jam wheels or old Volkswagen wheels that are rad for super cheap, even cheaper in the UK!Do you know your stock wheel specs? i might be able to give some suggestions. Ive always wanted an old Polo but I live in the states and they were never imported. Glad to see you with a car man!

That is crazy talk! Black box can suck my dick lol.

Yeah when I learned to drive I think my insurance was around 700 pounds fully comp. I swear anything to squeeze out more money.

The insurance for my golf is $100 for the year. So that's what 50 pounds. Fuck I think my Jetta is around the same. Go Canada

Thanks mate, I enjoyed reading through that crazy build of yours, shame it was never finished.
It's just a basic 4x100 stud pattern, I've got a few ideas but I've still got a while before I get anything.
Bullet steelies are an appealing choice for me though I'm not going to lie.
And yeah the 6n2 is a fun car, I put my foot down around some curvey roads yesterday for the first time and even with 2 people in the back I managed to have some fun with it.

Just find some 14,15 or 16 X8 BBS RS Replicas in 4x100, don't worry about the whole real wheel scene just go for what you can afford. Otherwise I would recommend some cheap deep and wide steelies with small tires. Good luck man, i could really see these on your car

Thanks for the heads up dude, I dont care about fakes or not for the time being purely because money.
I'll keep my eye on it, and I have to bear in mind the shipping costs for me seeing as I'm all the way across the pond in England.

just no. 70$ a Wheel equals to around 250€ the Set without shipping...for some shit that may break apart while driving.

a super quick 5 Minute Classified Search on what you can get for 250€ from Germany...and shipping will be like a tenth of what shipping on those reps would cost:

I know those are some love/**** wheels...but for 250€ for 15s...the World is your oyster.

In fact those Zenders really have my attention

                    Cheers MadMax

                      Skip the reps dude!

You can find lots of nice oem wheels that will work, you don't have to rock a set of bbs right away.

Cruise the for sale sections, find something unique.

If you need help with shipping, I'm sure either Max or myself can help you out.

If all else fails, I might be able to bring you a set when I'm coming to the UK in June, althought that is still a long time off.

                        As for my personal take:
I do not care if you run reps or not - as long as it's not fake splits, either way is cool by me, although personally I prefer genuine wheels due to various reasons. However, that argument of "oh yeah, no moneys for real wheels so I'll just by new reps" is complete bull. Check out used markets and you'll definitely find some very cool used, genuine wheels for a good deal. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but with some patience you'll find some really cool stuff.

                          The internet is my oyster

Still got a lot of time to search, but all recommendations are very welcome.
I have been browsing for some OEM stuff too but it's tricky to find anything cool with the right stud pattern as manufacturers didnt get too creative with their 4x100 wheels haha

Don't forget, you can alway run adaptors.

Re drilling wheels to 4x100 is a option too, it's not to expensive. I'm sure a shop around the London area can do it
