I agree on the ACS's... They look bold, racy and gnarly

I don't know about everyone else, but I like the wheels the way they are...

I like the black since I'm running a decent size tire all around, and it gives it an aggressive look. On top of that, this is my DD, and it keeps them looking "cleaner" for longer than if they were a lighter/brighter finish.

They're really great compared to crappy fiberglass flares that will crack/break on you. But ya they're plastic, so they can be rubbed through.

The matte paint and missing center caps on those ACS's really let the whole car down. On such a good looking quality built car, they just look out of place. Great car though, really enjoyed reading about it.

Agreed. When I put the wheels on, I had to do it, with no time to refinish them. They are plastidipped for the time being, but I never planned to run them this long. I have center caps on the way, but I may sell these after refinishing them. I'm getting my rear camber and toe adjusted to see how my staggered 17" set of Borbet Type As will fit. I will be powdercoating the Type As satin classic gold and widening the fronts from 8.5 to 9s. I am widening the fronts and spacing them out to have a meaty look with 245/40/17 front and 255/40/17 rears on the 10s.

The car is my daily, so the black wheels have allowed me to be lazy with washing it as often, lol. I also like the blacked out look on my car, since I have so many other black accents. When I re-plastidipped the wheels, I tried 2 on when they were back to silver, and it didn't look good IMO.

As for sound clips, I'll post an old one up on vimeo so I can share it here.
