  • Continue of a domestic build

So was able to snag a third gen camaro that had a bunch of work already done to it. The previous owner did an lt1 swap with a t56 trans, headers, cage, full suspension, full exhaust with an e-cut out, and did a mess of interior work.

So I bought it with hopes to finish the build. Like finishing up the little things, getting new wheels and hopefully paint. But that is coming slower then expected. Trans started acting up so I was looking to rebuild it. But found out it was better just to get a new t56 trans which isn't cheap... So I am either going to do some body work to it then vinyl wrap the car in matt brown, gloss copper, or gloss white or I may go the pita / rat rod look and sand some of the 2 layers of paint off this car and then just clear coat over it. I want it to not look like every other camaro out there... after all its built to go around a track and not in a straight line. I guess only time will tell, I am looking to trade the wheels but still stick with 18x9.5 all around (maybe c6 wheels, xxr or tsw wheels?) Just looking for some inspiration I guess.

Don't rat it out! These are cool cars and this one looks pretty clean. I say keep that trend and make it REALLY clean.

Part of me wants to just keep it clean but its really a car that I just want to drive and not have to worry about messing it up all the time. But who knows my clean side will most likely come out and keep a clean build.

Looks like that is lowered almost all the way? I may end up raising the front of mine since it rubs and the exhaust hangs so low on these old cars.

The Y pipe is rubing rarely. But I have Hooker Ypipe with hookers shorties headers.

I bought QA1 coilover and plan do drop the rear more. The main problem is the front arm are hitting the subframe because of my Tokico Blue HP shocks are too soft.

The differential have almost 2'' of travel, I need to notch the rear chassis to make the diff pass.

But fuck man, my car is very fun do drive.

Keep it red, keep it clean.

My opinion is five spoke wheels,
                    maybe 18" iroc reps

Nobody cares but just Incase... Added wide body kit and painted it....

The whole build was centered around these wheels. Since I have a 4th gen rear I need a wide body to pull the look off with a 275/35. The wheels came with 275/40 which would have been a seriously aggressive stance

Hot damn. That finished product is spot on. Nicely done!

Badass. Love the direction you went in.

I am inheriting a 4th Gen. SS in the next year.

Completely not my style, but hoping I can do something worthwhile with it. Every freaking 4th gen. on the web looks the same.

It would kill my Uncle if I hacked it up, so fender flares are out... Maybe.
