C5 allroad. First Audi

I've owned around 12 VW's , some pretty cool, and some turds. Here were a few of them.





















obviously not a Vw or even a car, but a moped I built, no clue where it ended up. It was my first intro into building anything transportation wise.

so there are my Favorite cars, from most recent to oldest.

I posted the mk3 up on various sites, facebooks, and word of mouths. I got a response about 6 hours later, sent him pictures, and about an hour later her bought a plane ticket from Indiana, to here in Richmond VA. Haggled and I had my money to buy my new venture.

So this all started yesterday, he flew in this morning. I went to work after the sale, and after I went to pick up my first Audi.

Mentioned car - 2002 Audi A6 Allroad. 120k miles, timing belt done at 110k. Full bag rebuild, regular maintenance (from what he told me but who knows). Some super *sick* non descriptive 18" wheels. A Maaco cheap two tone paint job and some actual decent speakers and headunit. Everything else is stock and very rough (interior wise). Seats have no tears, carpet just needs a good cleaning. all the controls, knobs, buttons, are rubbed off at least a little. Some decent quality headrest tv units and all the covers, clips and mats.

Anyway, I'm talking a lot, here are some turd pictures from the craigslist post. I promise I will load more tomorrow and I clean it all day long.

Nothing too exciting. Went to the Pick-A-Part/Junkyard today, picked up a hood, and some interior pieces . Still need to get the rest installed, but I like the little changes on the dash colors.

Old hood, obviously de-latched while driving and was bent. Did not feel too comfortable driving on the highway with it.



New hood, it's green. so the car has gone from two tone, to now a 3 tones paint job. wow stunning.



old dash color scheme, I will be changing more soon. I like the wood, but i wanna try something a little different.

So, not update really. finally washed it thoroughly and took point and shoot pics. Purchasing tank and compressors soon, to start the air build.

So, Started prepping for paint at 6pm. finished around 4am. There are two runs in the top coat. Nothing that wont be wet sanded out though. My first paint job, with great guidance i think i did a pretty good job!. New Grill and headlights are on the way, so don't mind those. Anyway, I will let the pictures speak for themselves.





























Threw the A8 wheels i have on as well. Needed some 15mm spacers to clear the knuckles. Next will be brand new wheels for winter, some meaty tires. and a lower drop on the 402 mod.
