1994 Ford Probe Gt

Hi Sup stance works? Like to introduce myself and my build thread. I'm new to the forums and fairly new to the stance scene. This thread will be all about my midnight purple ford probe gt . I picked this car up for $500 with a wrecked front end, shattered windshield and when the airbags deployed it destroyed the dash :/.

It has 103k miles on it and already came with a lot of maintenance done to it. New brakes, radiator, transmission, clutch, wires and plugs, distributor and oil change. Car drove just fine in the condition I bought it other than the cosmetic damage so I thought it was a steal. I already had a white 96 pgt that I gave up on because of a wiring nightmare with a kill switch installed by previous owner so I just used it for parts for this one.

I swapped over the hood, front bumper, front radiator support, headlights, black dash (old one was black and grey), steering wheel and shift linkage (the one on the purple probe was sloppy). I also bought a great condition hatch from the jy since the original was missing the spoiler and had holes in it.

Just post them here I'd say. 3 build thread does not seems like a good idea. Most people struggle to keep 1 build thread interesting. I would mix all 3 in one single mutli car build thread. Specialy since a probe is not exactly the most popular platform.

Unless you've got some crazy freaking impressive work going on then by all mean go ahead.

Also, my 2 cents, don't build 3 cars. Build 1 right. And for god sake put some picture this aint a novel we want pictures.

I had to raise the rear a lot because it kept cutting up my driver side tire. I had no camber in the rear and I never installed the camber kit so I rode around with the rake look until the head gasket went out :/.

OK thank you! The site won't let me login at the moment so I'm waiting on that to be fixed. I'll have pictures up soon of my probe and civic.

Edit: OK fixed the pictures and they are up. I have more of the probe from the process of me putting it together but the pictures are so big I thought I just post the finish from them.

Time to update this thread. I haven't posted in awhile but many updates. I traded in my civic and bought my 2013 red ford focus se with the dct transmission 2 weeks ago with 29k on the clock. I love the car so far.

I plan on keeping it simple as its my daily and still have my probe and Accord

Future mods includes

Now as an updated mods list for the probe. It has all new control arms and sway bar links in the front and back now. It does not start at the moment but I believe it's the timing belt.

I've been Mia for awhile handling life issues and getting my money right. The main focus right now is my probe getting done for IA this year for the summer meet. I have updated my mods list and future mods.

More car parts of course. I'm just great at hoarding them lol. I'm hoping to build a one of a kind probe.

Thanks man! That's on hold until I get the probe done. The probe is currently sitting as of now because the timing belt broke and spark plug boots got stuck in the holes smh. I have a spare klde motor from a 96 gt I'm currently rebuilding that I will drop in when it's turbo ready.

Mmmm, I love purple!

The whole theme of the car is gold and purple. Hoping I can color match as much as possible.

Also updated mods list again as I've bought the 18x10.5 +22 aodhan ds01 wheels in vacuum gold with chrome rivets. I've also bought 245/40/18 nankang ns 20 tires.

Next is the coils and most likely the body kit!
