    Right; got some tyres off my last pair fitted, then put them on the front and switched the 8u.5's to the rear!

    mission and a half, the tyres are a size to big (I should really go 195/50) but for now it will stay. plus i think the fronts need to 'weather' in and get dirty so they match the rear colour, they are the same wheel just really clean, so hopefully they turn a bit darker when i start driving it a bit!

    but theres much less camber in the rear, a little bit lower all around, overall quite happy with it!

    And then after that, i test fitted my 9J -13 pair on my friends e30 - perfect in the rear, fronts way to big. they sit nice though for a bagged car! If anyone knows the easiest way to get from e30 4 x 100 to 5 x 114.3 - please chime in! I think it would be e39 5 stud convert, then redrill hubs/rotors to 5x 114.3 from 5x120?

    He should really run them, its very cool.

          Thanks! its had a bit of a clean up/added lights/mirrors/polished the frame up a little in the last month so if i take it outside this weekend ot wash it I might take a proper photo of it for everyone to see some two wheel action! Its a rad piece of machinery, the greatest fun you can ever have on the road.

          and as for the laurel, its still guarding the garage like a champ; I started it today, only just because battery was so flat, took it up and down the street, tried starting it again at bottom of driveway after measuring suspension parts so a mate could check why his wheels aernt fitting; boom. doesnt start. typical. its going to spend a night outside sadly

          worst. quality. out.

            The laurel is sadly having a few issues - not great, but that is nissan life for you.

            However on a more positive note I posted a while ago about hydrodipping, have been looking into it quite seriously for the last 6months and have been slowly piecing together a setup at my place to do some proper (not business level though) production on a few car pieces, one being rocker covers.

            this last weekend just passed was the time when all that reading came together and I did my first full size piece! an SR rocker cover, I will post some photos but generally its;

            primer
            2k basecoat
            Carbon dipped
            2k clear

            Should hold up fine to engine temps, will test one out very shortly when I do a few more to confirm but thats what everyone uses so I don't see how mine will be different.

            Its very cool stuff, I have basically only got carbon down pat at the moment and am doing a few more covers but will brance out into different/more films as I learn!

                      Went for a new years morning cruise through Mt glorious/Mt nebo. Car went well! I need to stiffen up rear passenger corner a touch, find the rattle thats going on near the tailshaft (which i think is just a shitty loose cover) but overall went very well.

                              Right!

                              Drove it for quite a while over my christmas break, then ran into troubles

                              I was cruising along the motorway, then all of a sudden sounded like a semi truck went past me, sadly there was no semi. It was just my manifold cracking apart. I knew the stainless wasnt going to hold up (as it has been patched before, but eh)

                              So! After a bit of towing here and there and then getting it back to JDM Garage for more awesomeness, this is how its currently sitting!

                              Brae steampipe high mount
                              using same td06 and gate
                              hard line oil drain
                              meaning new dump/intake piping
                              as well as adding 5 of greddy white face green backlit gauges to keep an eye on everything!

                              went from this:

                              To fitting manifold:

                              Test fits:

                              Welded a 90* onto my turbo for max awesomes:

                              And hten early next week it goes in for fab of pipes/exhaust then back for a touch up tune then back to driving it!
