hes building a panelvan (aka. shaggin' wagon)

if he pulls it off, itll look pretty friggin awesome!!

      examples:

these were big in the uk i believe, the ford escort sundowner

the holden gemini panelvan (stolen from opel/vauxhall/whatever)

the true blue aussie holden sandman panelvan

these were used by surfers, and guys wanting to get laid in comfort/style anywhere!

the back was usually decked out with shagpile or suede and the likes, a mattress, etc.

i actually wired up a stereo in one today at work, mattress removed to make my job easier :p

and this is probably one of my favorite from back in the day, its originally a station wagon, like the e36, which has had teh front doors extended, rears welded up, etc. i remember drooling over this in street machine magazines at school, the details in the build were amazing

really cant wait to see how this turns out, keep at it!!!!!!

Neat, I didn't quite follow what was actually going on until I seen the panel over the rear.

I didn't realize you were going to do a panel van with this - that neatly solves my concern earlier in the thread.

I like where this is going VERY much.

Is it just me, or are there a lot more next level builds on SW nowadays?
Just read a thread with someone putting a Mercedes body on a bagged S10 frame, then an LSX Turbo E30, and now this?!

                              Keep up the great work

I think the sedan/wagon doors flow so much better than coupe doors would because it makes the car look longer and more van like.
